They could always reveal he's from the future at the end, maybe even in a post-credit scene setting up the next movie.There is no way they won't do DOFP or something similar. It's the most popular xmen story, even way more than Phoenix or anything else. Even Deadpool did their own version with Cable. It won't be the first story, though.
I don't think the movie would focus on time travel is Bishop is in it, just that they'd expect fans to know his character and maybe something is referenced. Point being, the studio's are gonna want a black man on the team and Bishop is the obvious choice.He was already in DOFP, but not being the time traveler and he looked amazing, imo.
Well that would be a bad idea too. Bishop's introduction into the X-Men world should be through time travel. That's the character's story. To just have him there for diversity and hoping people know him from X-Men 97 seems like a mistake to me.
