The End is definitely Romy at it's finest. I for one love it, I keep my TP beside my bed I love it that much Roll Eyes
CC might be the only Marvel writer who can actually write the characters properly, none of that overly insecure Rogue or doormat Remy  crap which has turned almost the whole fandom against the pairing.

The scene in which Gambit and Rogue break into the lab to find Sinister is testament the kind of potential they have as a couple with a good writer, as a dynamic couple who can work together as well as apart as individuals.

And I loved the scene in which Rogue died, now that's proper tragedy! And Rogue's character remained strong right until the very end, which was a really refreshing change. Even when she was dying she was still using that southern sass which I love so much about her character.

I really The End too. I wish Marvel would collet the whole thing in hard back.
