Sorry I'm replying so late to this thread! Maybe some of you all might remember me as the writer of "Dreams and Desires" ? Can't believe I started writing that in 1993 when X-men 23 came out and I saw the preview for the cover of X-men #24.  Finally got it online in 1997.  Can't believe how many years ago that is now!

Is it okay to post about being a Gambit and Rogue fanfic writer here?  If so I'd love to hear from other Gambit and Rogue fanfic writers on this forum. 

Right now I'm not doing Gambit and Rogue fanfic writing, but I check out Gambit and Rogue fanfics from time to time and I'm a member of the Gambit and Rogue fanclub on deviantart.  (I did some fanart back in the day, and in the past few years I've done some customizing of dolls to be Gambit and Rogue. )

Paws (also on here) and I are currently writing a romy fic... we're 18 chapters in so far, but only 4 of them have been fully edited... we're slowly making progress though!

There are at least a handful of us fanfic writers who hang out here.  Dande, Lucia and Xenokatz jump immediately to mind, but there are others too.  I've trotted out a couple of my old fics and am working on finishing them, if kind of slowly at the moment. 

There's a Gambit Fanfic forum and an X-Men fanfic forum that can be used for discussion of fics and related fic writing topics, and the stories posted in the LeBeau Library each have their own thread so you can comment on them if you'd like.

Wow, that's so cool! Wonder what Lori's up to nowadays, I loved her Gambit and Rogue fanfic archive.  Darqstar (of the old Shifting Sands archive)  is on livejournal  but she's been out of Marvel comics fandom for years now.

Here's a close up picture of my newest customized Gambit and Rogue dolls. I didn't have the face customizing done when I took the full length picture and the quick eyebrows addition looked ugh. The finished customization looks much better! I've added it to my deviantart page
