I just picked up the little Super Hero Squad figures of Gambit and Rogue today, and I thought I'd let people know that they're out now. It's mildly embarrassing walking to the counter with toys meant for 3 year olds, but. I'm brave. Gambit's eye colors are off, but. I think the black part might scare little kids? Who knows.

For those that don't know what these are, here's a pic:

I always thought that the 'super hero squad' figures were slightly demented looking, but hey some Gambit love! I'll have to get those, although it is Christmas, so you can just pretend you're buying them for a kid.  Grin

Yea, that's what I usually do when I amble into the toy isle in Target or something. Haha. I try to do my best "I have no idea what I'm looking at!" impression. Not surprisingly, I'm very good at it. Haha.

^_^ I'm eyein' 'em bad!! I also keep wondering why Gambit
is packaged all sideways. I guess because of his bo-staff, but it
looks really wierd.

I tried Ebay, but plus S&H, they're about 20 bucks!! AHH!!

Wal-Mart and Target don't have them around here. Sucks!!

Guess I'll try the toys R us website again or something.
I think they're about 10 dollars there. That's better then
what ebay wants.

Actually, they don't have them, either but they have
the packs of other characters for, I think, only ten bucks.

Speaking of toys, yesterday I was surprised to find a giant plush lion sitting
around. My dad got it and he never buys dolls (Duh), but I guess
he thought it was cute or something. It's super soft and I love just
carrying it around.

I want to get a big plush tiger for my tiger collection. Either realistic
looking, (Very cool. Almost got one
on Ebay but I got outbid.), or "cute", like the lion. I even asked him if they had any where he got it, but they didn't.  Sad

Spectrum, don't worry about what people think. I've been doing that
forever and it just gets you nowhere. That was how I ended up
looking for the first Teen Titans DVD for half an hour with no
results, all because I was too embarrassed to ask if target had it in stock!
Geeky is just another word for special! Smiley LOL.

I think that he's sideways cause the pose is supposed to be him leaping over something rather than doing some funky chicken dance standing on his feet. To me the packaging made that pose make sense (before I'd only seen him out of the package and couldn't figure out why he looked like that.)

These guys only cost me 5 bucks here, so. I won't spend too much more than that if you find them. The thing is, the Gambit and Rogue set is one of the few that are highly desirable by those lame toy collectors who camp out super early on days that the new toys are put on the shelves so that the real fans have a hard time getting them. I've been trying to get the Super Friends Aquaman figure forever now. ; ;

Yeah, I saw them on hasbrotoys.com for 5.99, but they were sold out.  The other sites on found them on were like 15. crazy...

Bummer, I wish I'd seen that when it was in the stores.  Anyone seen it on ebay?

I was a sucker and over paid for them on ebay.  Cheesy Hey, it was easier then trying to stake out the toys r us until I found them in stock. Though I did find another SHS Gambit, sheerly by accident, in a four pack with I think, wolverine nightcrawler and colossus? at Toys R Us that I also picked up.

I have been trying to find them myself everywhere...the last place of course is eBay...kinda need to ban myself from there...it's not in my budget...I'm cut off from my eBay shopping sprees.
