ok, really clever theory! leave the drama away , i find this much more believable!!!

See that's the beauty of this theory because i don't care how much you like someone as a person if you're not attracted to them physically it's a no go. Though someone not being attracted to Gambit boggles my mind, of course I like brunettes so I could be bias.  Wink

I suppose he has his moments (in print/not the movies) if you over look the fact that he's like 80. I think the creep out factor reguarding Mags [for me] has always been the Rogue relationship some writers like to push. The min I see that story line show up I have to quell me heave reflex.

Yeah, I get an uncomfortably incesty vibe just from the idea. Oh god, I just thought of something--what did Anya look like? Any similarity at all between her and Rogue?

Anya had brown hair. That's like the only similarity.

I did enjoy the moment in the recent Legacy where Danger was recreating the Savage Land scene, and Rogue's like "Uh, no. I can't deal with this now."

HAH! Yeah, that got a giggle out of me as well. It was a very me-Tarzan-you-Jane moment, what with the loin cloths.  Shocked

Not to mention those blonde men whom Rogue had fallen in love with are from the alternate universe...

Captain America - What If (vol 2) #114
Fandral the Dashing of the Warriors Three - What If (vol 2) #12 (Umm...that site I've linked has a wrong spelling)

I love the little detail of Rogue being on her tiptoes.

*chuckles*, he usually appears in Thor.  Sometimes he's in an Avengers book and few short series.  However ... I was looking him up since I had never heard of him.   Wink

From Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fandral
Quote
Fandral is a warrior of Asgard and an adventurer. He is an irrepressible swashbuckler and romantic. His bravery and optimism often puts the group in highly disadvantageous positions; as perennially pointed out by the gloomy Hogun. Fandral considers himself the consummate ladies' man and is often depicted with a bevy of young ladies. His actual success with these ladies is intermittent at best, but as such provides numerous opportunities for humorous results. Despite these flaws, he possesses an excessively noble spirit and will do the right thing without thought to his personal safety or prosperity.

You know, Rogue was attracted to a blond Gambit as well.  When he was the son of Sue Storm and Namor - named Remy McKenzie, code name Gambit.  (From New Exiles)

I say we list the blonds.  I bet there are more than we know.  LOL.

Just think about it...
 Cody - Blond
 Long Shot - Blond
Old Bucket head - ULTRA Blond
 Campbell St. Ange - Blond
That lame Pulse guy - Blond

Gambit - NOT BLOND

So I figure if Remy ever wants to make a real go at it with Rogue he needs to invest in a bottle of peroxide.

Just refreshing our memories on the list to add to it.

Robert Reynolds
Iceman?  someone had mentioned him.
New blond in Legacy, the one who admires from afar if its the character we think it is.  Cannonball?  Possibly.
Fandral The Dashing
Captain America
Remy McKenzie (Fishbit)
Magneto
Joseph

Anymore folks?

Her non blonds are Colossus and Gambit.

Technically the "Gambit, son of Namor and Sue Storm" Gambit is named Remy and takes that code name to honor one of Namor's deceased friends. I.E. the 'real' Remy Gambit LeBeau is dead in that reality.
