Not confirmed. Tatum wanted him in solo first.

But also Tatum was saying that solo would arrive before Apocalypse.

The solo might as well happen first, since I heard that not even Jackman knows anything about Apocalypse until he was asked about it.

It may be a prequel to Apocalypse but no way Gambit movie will arive earlier the Apoc. Both movies has planned release dates and I think Gambit script is not even finished yet.

That could mean he doesn't NEED to know anything. Hence.. not knowing anything.

Berry's Storm? Interesting. Glad we'll get a little sneak peek at Gambit here too. As far as Mystique, I think J-Law is great. I love her.  But it's time to move on from the character and the First Class cast since this is the end of that trilogy.

I'm happy with this, he'll play a cameo role in a good movie and it'll help promote his solo. I wanted Gambit to at the very least be involved in some X-Men storylines.
The Halle Berry cameo is very intriguing which tells me that it will involve the present, and I think that's were Gambit scene/s will take place.
