I keep telling myself to watch ... now I'm on the "on demand" catch up with it. Which I haven't done. All the trailers look good so far ... so its good to hear that it actually is good. :)

It is in some way as The Jacket, Shutter Island or Mr.Nobody with elements of comedy and horror.
I hope next episodes will be as good :)

Watched Logan today.
Was it good? Yes it was.
Was it great? Definetely not.
It is not even close to DOFP or Deadpool level.
For me it was at First Class level.

This movie has too many clishes and nothing really to surprise if you know who X-23 is.
Fights are brutal but worse then in Deadpool. Maybe I am dissapointed with fights because prevoius movie I saw was John Wick 2 and it had much better action in everything.

It wasn't hard to guess what will happen next in this movie at all.
The worst part is that fight with spoiler character reminded me Origins(( It was stupid to use similar idea again.

The best part of movie is Xavier.

seen Logan also, so for me its goes Deadpool, X2, Logan in terms of fox marvel movies so far, defiantly the best appearance from Gambit  in an x-men movie :P the kid playing Laura/X23 is amazing she stole the entire movie for me, if they made an X23 movie with the same tone as this i would so be there to watch it, no end credit scene so don't waste your time waiting about for one

Just saw Logan tonight and it's probably my 2nd favorite X-men film behind DOFP and just ahead of Deadpool. This felt like an X-men version of Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" to me and is precisely why the X-men should stay with Fox. You can't get this level of darkness in the Marvel universe and it feels like with Deadpool and now Logan, Fox has finally found their niche in the superhero genre with dark, violent, and gritty films. Now they just need to stop f***ing around and get that Gambit film made. Bring me the Thieves and Assassin's Guild.

Agreed. It's unfortunate that Jackman is leaving because Wolverine, Gambit, Deadpool could have been the Cap, Thor, Iron Man of the FoX-Men Universe. Maybe Cable can fill that spot too.

Not familiar with the character, any good? Hopefully he's not to much like gambit since it will probably follow his movie

He is my second favourite. He is fun and has potential for a great movie.

Kitty Pryde movie supposedly in the works: https://www.cbr.com/kitty-pryde-solo-movie-fox/?utm_source=CBR-FB-P&utm_medium=Social-Distribution&utm_campaign=CBR-FB-P&view=list

Kinda doubtful it will happen with the Disney deal, but I guess it could happen if they decide to keep the X-Men franchise as a separate entity from the rest of the MCU.

Disney can use the Fox brand name for the franchise, thus allowing more R rated stuff like Deadpool and other projects that having the Disney name might cause audiences to think its for kids or families.

Which I could totally see. However, I don't really understand how a Kitty Pryde movie would be R.
