Xavier should be a ‘background’ character. He can be thematical important, but absolutely fitness to hog the screen time he does. And spot on about magneto being like joker in ten Batman films. Enough already... I want dark photo kill him too...

The finale trailer has gotten me really excited for the movie. Jean really looks badass which is something which we has never seen before so really looking forward to how she her character is developed throughout the movie.

Agreed, she does look more bad ass and certainly more focus than the last few times we've seen her got nuts. LOL
My only reason for wanting to see this ... the spoiler that was posted a few weeks back. I'm evil, I know. LOL

The visuals and action scenes look really good. I am really interested to see how they handle the Phoenix saga this time around and how they end the story line. We won't be getting any X-Men movies in the next few years so think I will give this movie a chance.

I still feel its a rehash of other Xmen films and while I want to keep up with the Xmen stuff. I don't feel the need to see this in the theater.

I was never sold on this cast and Mystique is still a big detraction for me.

Well atleast the MCU wont be touching the Phonix saga twice in 10 years like, Fox messed Poccy up, Mags is waaaaaaaaaaay past being over done, and Mystique can f*** right off, Bring on Sinister i say :)

Dark Phoenix predicted to not do well at the box office.

I don't think any of us are surprised by this.

I didn't see it, my reasons? Just fed up with the repetitive Xavier/Magneto conflict, I understand it's importance, but I don't need to watch 7 movies dedicated to it, it's not that interesting. And Dark Phoenix again? meh...

Looking back at FoX-Men in the last 20 years. The films were never about X-Men, including the good ones, for instance, X2 was a Wolverine film - guest starring the X-Men...an entertaining film, but not an X-Men film. They butchered a lot of popular characters and ignored my personal favourites, including the character this very board is dedicated to (hmm, I wonder who we're talking about here?) ...so why should I give them more money?

I think Anya calls it "man pain" for Magneto specifically but it applies to Xavier too.
Agree with the butchering of favorites, including ours here.

I'm not going to the theater for it. I'll wait for on TV. I won't rent it either.

I like your "name" for it. Fox-Men, nice.

Fox has messed it up so bad though, probably why Marvel will rest them.

Mystique is my least favorite character, I couldn't buy into it or the actress playing her. Ah well. It may be awhile before we see another Xmen film.
Thanks to Fox to screwing it up so badly. Really, Fox should know its their poor story for Dark Phoenix doing so poorly. IMO.

Mystique, let's be honest, if you are an old school comic reader- Mystique-

You mean Rogue's Mom?

I think Fox made movies so bad that Disney had to buy them out of you know, self respect
