Really? That's awesome. I would love to see him on X-Men

Yes. I heard that his first pitch for Marvel were X-Men but they gave him other books.

I think it was White or KT who told that wedding decision were made on Marvel summit and it was Coates idea to change wedding.

I HAd heard that Coates was an x men can. And that the wedding switch was from a writers summit, but I thought it was Donny cates. But I'm not positive.

Ahhh #@$%, I'd pass on that. He's great at world-building but as far as plot and character development, he's about as bad and annoying as Tom Taylor is on X-Men Red.

Rogue being flung vagina-first at the first male that pops up on her radar isn't how I'd define "romance," but Marvel must be using a different dictionary than me.- NicoPony

I don't think either is particularly bad but whatever. Different strokes and all that

When I say "bad" I don't mean ''not talented'. Coates is an accomplished writer with big ideas and Taylor writes his @$$ off at DC. But in Marvel, both of them suffer from the same inability to write a story without injecting their personal crusades and feelings. Funny thing is, it wouldn't be all that bad but they don't even try to hide it or use cleaver allegory. I find it obvious, uninventive and completely distracting. Pulls me out of the book.

I don't haven't read enough of Coates to have an opinion. Taylor can be a little ham fisted, but so far I still like Red.

This looks fun. Deadpool needs to go, though.
