When I say "bad" I don't mean ''not talented'. Coates is an accomplished writer with big ideas and Taylor writes his @$$ off at DC. But in Marvel, both of them suffer from the same inability to write a story without injecting their personal crusades and feelings. Funny thing is, it wouldn't be all that bad but they don't even try to hide it or use cleaver allegory. I find it obvious, uninventive and completely distracting. Pulls me out of the book.
