Figured it out, she mistakingly believes the show continuity and the books are the same thing. When she describes his past she refers to Bella as his ex fiancee not wife and says he ran away instead of being banished for accidentally murdering his brother in law. Funny, she mixes in comic book lore in with XTAS. It's very confusing.
Rogue being flung vagina-first at the first male that pops up on her radar isn't how I'd define "romance," but Marvel must be using a different dictionary than me.- NicoPony

Mad is definitely in my top 5 of all time , his art got so much better as his run went on, pity he was so slow though, its the reason 350 had fill in pages

I know, right? His very short run on Avenging Spider-Man is what got me back into comics. And then he was done and I didn't see him doing anything until Savage Wolverine for 2 issues. I need more haha

So this person severely effed up Gambit's backstory... Or is this the story that Carey retold?

Like Marvel itself, pick and choose history - forget the books. LOL

Yea Joe Mad is another legend when it comes to artists who have drawn Gambit. This sketch is amazing.

That's a huge sculpture. His face and hair could've been done a bit better but it's still really cool.

While Jim Lee will always be my favorite Gambit artist, and Lee Weeks #2, Joe was my third. Always captured Remy's dynamic agility and his "cool" presence and his good looks.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of the hair, but that's just a nitpick.
