KT: MMX 1 - MMX 5: Arc 1
MMX 6: Arc 2 (1 issue…so maybe not an arc, which is why it’s confusing?)
MMX 7 - MMX 9 (or MMX 10, I’m still deciding): Arc 3

Fabian Nicieza Interview: Wade's World--The Deadpool Podcast Episode #65

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsCH31OLHec

Gambit talk from 26 to 31 minute.

- Fabian liked Gambit out of the X-Men more then he liked him in the X-Men.
- He liked writing solo much more then writing him in a team book. Gambit had such a baggage forced on him and has such a nebulous origin
- Chris told possible storylines when he was introducing for the character
- Howard Mackie, Lee Weeks, Bob Harris helped Fabian to define how he saw Gambit. Also helped to define first mini with Thieves Guild.
- For Fabian Gambit is not an X-Men but a Romeo and Juliet set in New Orleans
-  Would love more to do a 14-15 year old Gambit TV series with Bella then about Gambit as 25 or 26 year old Thief. Just more story there that interests him.
- When he was writing Gambit solo he was also offered to write a big Gambit Novel with story in Present day and past. He was up to page 275 but Marvel cancelled contract with book company. 200 pages away from finishing.
- He thinks that Gambit would work better as Netflix TV series then as movie. He thinks that character strength is not in 2 hour movie but in serialized storytelling. And he would love to base it without X-Men in New Orleans and with Guilds.

Glad to see our favorite Cajun get top 10! I'm surprised he even beat Rogue in the polls considering how much more Marvel has featured Rogue in comics the last five years. Maybe this can be a sign to Marvel that they should have Gambit featured more prominently in comics after keeping him in limbo from 2015-2018 and seemingly trying to kill his fanbase with crappy writers and crappy stories. Despite all that they should realize that we still support him. Don't know how this will affect anything but one can wish. https://twitter.com/cracksh0t/status/1046735413229080578Jordan White's (the Xmen Editor) reaction from above just shows you how surprised they were with this result.

Is it bad that I'm happy to see Fantomex with so few votes? Keep that in mind the next time you call him the X-Men's Premier Thief, Marvel.

Few comments on the poll
-I didn't vote since I am not on twitter.

Gambit: Pretty good, the era of bad story lines didn't damage Gambit as it would have for other characters if they were given equal treatment.

Emma/ Jean: I don't know why telepaths are so interesting to people but they are.

Bishop:His character was destroyed during Messiah Complex for Hope Summers and she gets 2 votes.

Magneto: So much for being the best anti hero in Marvel.

Nightcrawler: Awesome placement.

Rogue: Should always be a top 5 X-Man still quite respectable placement this time.

Fantomax is a better creation than Gambit argument goes out the window even with the hardcore fans.

Cyclops: Over a decade was spent on him being the focal point of the X-Men series. Was the X-Men series better for it?
