That's Joe Mad's art from a while back on instagram, so it must've led to this. Beautiful cover, maybe because it reminds me of the late 90's and the snow could be an Antarctica reference.

Oh and for anyone interested in X-Men Grand Design. Gambit will likely be in the final chapter which will be released in June 19...(not far off)

Hard to say with Gambit's appearance in Grand Design, years of stories are crammed into a single comic. So maybe just a few panels. But yeah, he'll be there at the very least.

As for Hickman, Gambit not in the big Mark Brooks promo art (which has literally 30-40 characters), is pretty much a dead giveaway that he'll play no role in the event, maybe a satellite book by a different writer is what JDW is hinting at. I'm sure Hickman will write the series well, but from what I hear, it's focused on Professor X, Magneto, and there's 3 Wolverines and I'm sure Cyclops will play a big part as well...so pretty much the same thing for the last 20 years. But this re-launch is for realz! Like I said, Hickman will probably do a fine job and good luck to him, but I'll wait and see before I judge it properly...and not to listen to the hype and the sycophants that are prematurely hopping on the bandwagon.

That team book with Gambit and Rogue that they never have being a part before probably will be drawn by Asrar

The obscured male character next to Rogue looks like Gambit, so this is probably it. A team that they've never been on before, and he hash tagged #xmen on Instagram. So maybe a satellite X-Book...probably X-Force? It wouldn't be X-Factor because Gambit's been there already. If it were not Uncanny X-Men or Adjectiveless, then I'd hope for X-Force, nothing else...because I see satellite books as a demotion, but X-Force does have cachet. Or maybe something completely new...

could be Gambit but it could also be Wolverine , head sock or mutton chops? Rogues in 90s garb while the person beside her could be House of M Logan going by the look of the Uniform

Asrar`s pic is probably just a Marvel 1000 panel. On Instagram he told that it's a "special project" and he'll still be on Conan.

Looks like Diamond Select Toys is doing a Fox X-Men Animated bust line. Cyclops is up first, though some have commented that it looks weird. Here's the description and link below it...

A Diamond Select Toys release! Scott Summers kicks of a new line of busts based on the classic X-Men animated series! Depicting Cyclops with a gleam in his visor and his fists at the ready, this approximately 6" resin bust is limited to only 3,000 pieces and comes packaged with a certificate of authenticity in a full-color box.
