Its not worth reading. Not because Gambit isn't doing much, but because it's not a good book outside of art.
Rogue being flung vagina-first at the first male that pops up on her radar isn't how I'd define "romance," but Marvel must be using a different dictionary than me.- NicoPony

Agreed. Event the characters getting more focus are not being well served by it.

Love the art, l am Interested in where they are taking Rogue and Gambit. D&D feel of the book,'why not? See where it goes.

I find terribly paced and the dialogue doesn't flow for me. With so much x-men on the horizon, I can't afford to buy something I'm not going to read. Please, keep us updated.

Oh wow, Excal 3 felt like a train wreck

Edit: Turns out it wasn't as bad as I first thought. It just felt really off because I never finished issue 2. It still wasn't great and seemed more a stalling comic than a proper advancement. Though. I guess, this says plenty about my feelings on issue two as well >.>

I hate that channel, they are as bad as CBR, next to no real research, they provide no issues or images to their claims and they just exaggerate or flat out lie.

I'm reading it, and just read #4. Yeah...I'm still getting the Milligan vibes with Gambit's voice, he is quite obnoxious and has no charisma whatsoever. His attack on the British protesters was idiotic, because someone threw a bottle at him? He has more tolerance than that. I didn't mind the idea of him and Rictor on a mission together, I'm very much for the idea of Gambit working with established characters that he's never really worked with, so that was a tick for me. The book overall? The last 2 issues have slowly improved. There are some solid ideas. The art is by far the best out of all six DoX books, no doubt about that. On a side note, Rogue's awake now, but Gambit doesn't know it, so hopefully he'll simmer down once he finds out. He does finish the issue on a cliffhanger.

A literal cliff. Gambit fell off a cliff. Also he still sucks.
