The rumors from all the major news outlets has Disney shelving everything. Even the completed movies like New Mutants and Dark Phoenix. Probably a good idea, as it would just further damage the brand with more bad movies. Test screenings have not been kind to these movies.
 
Im good with Gambit just playing a supporting role in a future MCU project. Tatum was never right for the role, and its pretty clear to me that they have never had a story to tell, anyway. IMO, a bad Fox Gambit movie would probably damage the character beyond salvaging.

Noone will cancel Dark Phoenix that is completed movie and now is doing reshoots. Ridiculous rumour.


Noone know if Gambit movie would be bad or good. Good movie would definetely help Gambit to get a good role in MCU.

No kidding, we're just inflicting pain at this point. This movie is dead at this point in time. Doesn't mean it can't resurface but ... we may be waiting a while for this to become anything.

I'd say if after 5 yrs  the lead actor and producer has no flipping dea if its even happening anymore. Yes..its time to.let go and hope for the best with the MCU where gambit is concerned.                       End transmission 😔

Thats old news, man. Disney doesn't sound like they want them released. Might get a release down the line as n exclusive on the Disney streaming service. This is all been reported by Collider, comicbookcast, screenjunkies, John Campea.

Its being released in theatres. They are currently in reshoots...and a new trailer is expected shortly.

Disney may be cutting back and or thinking of different ways to present the material. The projects may be over in their current form but could be represented in a different format.

My example would be Jessica Jones, Punisher, Daredevil .... etc. Those shows are doing well in the streaming service market.
Disney wants to do its own streaming service and its going to use prior properties to launch and set themselves up.

I would take a Gambit TV show, put the show in NO and keep the morally grey parts, it could work. We'd get more Gambit, it might easier to produce.

Again.. If a Gambit film is is happening. Tatum does not seem to know it about it. He said today he has "no clue"" what he's doing next. ..acting or directing.

Gambit movie will have a tone of romantic comedy/sex comedy. This is really an interesting and I will be very open to it if they do get the movie
