It was really unexpected but that is the thing I like about Kelly Thompson is she is able to surprise us.

That is a cool new twist. Before the book began, I was worried the egg was just going to be a glorified MacGuffin but KT has been adding some interesting developments to the story with each issue so far

It seems they were teleported to a ship where everyone wants to kill them:)
Can't wait for #3. Tgis scene reminds me how Skroce was drawing multiple Gambit on panels.

DearMachine from CBR figured out the text.

G: Try not to kill anything, Wade.
D: You'll be the one throwing explosives in a spaceship. So how about you try not to kill us?
G: Deal.
D: Deal? Really? Gambling puns? How does Rogue even take you seriously?
G: Wade! Skewering a guy is definitely a kill.
D: I'm sure they have very fancy healing in space. He'll be fine.
G: Watch the ricochet.
D: Gah. Nearly got my butt. Ahhhhhhh!
G: Wade. Enough with the skewering. Pick a less deadly weapon. I know you have other options.
D: Uff. All my weapons are deadly. I am a deadly weapon. And I only keep deadly weapons. Well, except that one time. BUT WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT TIME.
G: Every time you kill a guy is a time I'm gonna kill you. After this over, of course.
D: .... Worth it. (I missed some of Wade's sound effects.)

Just finished reading this issue and this has to be my favourite issue. That banter between Gambit and Wade while they fight the soldiers was the highlight on this issue. Gambit was awesome and badass in this book. Do check it out guys I am sure you won't be disappointment.

When paired with Deadpool? Yeah, he's either reeling him in or kicking the crap out of him. I prefer this than that Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe BS where we see that he killed Gambit off panel...

Gambit's fun loving, but Deadpool's a nutcase and basically a liability for how Gambit likes to operate. Gambit's the guy that slips into a ballroom and attracts attention simply due to his swagger, all the while using the attention as diversion... On the other hand, Deadpool is akin to a lit firecracker on that same dance floor.
Rogue being flung vagina-first at the first male that pops up on her radar isn't how I'd define "romance," but Marvel must be using a different dictionary than me.- NicoPony
