You have no idea how much I want to see this now. Mothra's new look, Godzilla's bad ass-ness. Rodan and King Ghidorah.
I grew up watching these type of films.

I hope Hollywood got it right. LOL

The kaijus are looking really good and looking forward to seeing King Ghidorah on the big screen. I liked the last movie so looking forward to this one too.

I liked the last movie too. Though I think there wasn't enough Godzilla in the 2014 movie. But it was a good re-start for the character and Hollywood. The 1998 Godzilla was not a good thing.
The one I'm not looking forward to is the one after this one. Godzilla verses King Kong. I just don't see how KK could not get wiped out quickly with Godzilla's breath. It's baffling.

Me too but what changes did they make to the titans(kaijus)?

I don't know all the changes. The one that is most noticeable is Mothra. More colorful and more moth like in looks. They changed Mothra's sound too, its more a chirp type thing. The wings look really long too.  I think there may have been a reason for all of that too. But without seeing the film, I don't know if my theory is true. LOL

All the other monsters look the same.

They might have made Rodan's horns on the top of his head a bit more sharp in looks. He seems more red and fiery than I remember too.

King Ghidora looks the same.

Godzilla is pretty big looking ... and it appears his back will light up with electricity or atomic type thing. I remember when 2014 film was out, there were complaints that Godzilla was "fat". And I don't mean phat .... I mean folks thought he was over weight. I find that hilarious. So ... on that note, no, he has not lost weight and looks just as big as he did in the earlier film.

Trying to find a good picture of Mothra, the attached is a poster but other art shows Mothra with yellow coloring along with blue..

The final trailer for the film.

I found it eerie that a piano version of "Over the Rainbow" was started and then an orchestra was added.

Thanks, Neko for the update. Did you check out the 5 minute clip from the movie? If not here is a link.

The special effects look really good and the clash of the titian will be epic. King Kong won't have a chance against Godzilla if he ends up betting Ghidorah who looks super op.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this, there hasn't been a really good Monster Movie in some time. Looks like Godzilla will be bad ass. Ghidorah looks awesome.  All of the titans look great.

I agree Kong won't have a chance against Godzilla.

Thanks for the clip. It was awesome.

The movie was good, I enjoyed it a lot. It was a Monster movie, like it should be. Godzilla was humanized a bit and I found that I liked it, gave him some lore which I also liked. Mothra is beautiful on the big screen. Ghidorah and Rodan are bad ass. LOL
Fun, if you like this type of film, go see it. I give it thumbs up.

I just saw the movie and had a good time watching it. It is a movie to watch in the big screen and visually it looked amazing. With the last film there was a complain that it had very little Godzilla in it but this movie has given valuable screen time to the titans. King Ghidorah looked amazing and Mothra looked stunning in it's final form. There were some unexpected elements and liked the nod to Kong.
My only gripe were with the human characters as they are very boring and they give alot of exposition. I don't even remember there names.
In the end it was a fun movie with good battle sequences and stunning visuals. I enjoyed it way more than Dark Phoenix which was very bad.

The success of Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong will dictate what happens next for the Monsterverse cinematic universe. With so much potential still available for Godzilla in overseas markets, it's unlikely faltering box office numbers here in North America will slow down the Monsterverse's momentum.

I like to re-watch movies. My fam makes fun but I can live with it.

Holy crap ... I had not noticed Mothra's help with Godzilla. It's amazing - visually - but if you don't know to look for it, you don't see it. It looks great.
