Refrige's have gotten much taller, I had to take a cabinet out. I put the cabinet in my hobby room and this is the result.

Awesome. You GOTTA get some Govee lights on amazon (the same lighting strips I used in my cabinet) and backlight the collection. It'll instantly transform your figure display.

You're gonna have to get this one. As am I
.

This is why I love this forum. I had no idea this was coming out. THANK YOU! I gotta keep the collection up to date.

Haha, I JUST commented on your reddit post about the detail that went into the Gambit one. They really are f***in' awesome. Great job on that.

Wanted to share a few of my rarer oddities from the collection.

Oddity 1: Bluebird's X-Men Chemical Chaos Playset

I think this is one of my favorites, simply because I feel like I willed it into existence. In the 90s I remember I had just gotten the X-Men Pocket Comics "War Room" playset that came with Gambit and Mr. Sinister (Pocket Comics were basically those mini Mighty Max playsets but with Marvel characters). And while playing with it I remember thinking, "Damn, it'd be so cool if there was one of these in the shape of Gambit's head".

Fast forward 20 some odd years, and when I started my Gambit collection, I found out IT ACTUALLTY EXISTS! It was only released in the UK (I'm from the US). What's crazy to me is that what I figured was just a random childhood thought, turned out to be a real thing.

As a rational person, I wonder if I had seen an ad in a comic for this which had implanted that thought. Does anyone know if any of the 90s X-Men comics had an ad for this specific toy?

Oddity 2: Gambit Quarter Machine Sticker Misprint

I remember eating at some family restaurant as a kid and as we were leaving I saw a few quarter vending machines. One had  X-men stickers (and I was REALLY excited because one of them was a Gambit sticker). So naturally I bugged my dad for some quarters, but he wasn't having it.

In recent years, while building my collection, I finally got the exact sticker that I had seen in that restaurant as a kid. But while searching for that, I also stumbled across the fact that there had been ANOTHER Gambit sticker released for super limited time. This sticker had been recalled because of a spelling error.

So of course... as soon as I found it listed on ebay, I had to have the fabled "Gambet" quarter machine sticker.

Long (like really really long) time lurker.

Hmmm… that one is cute too, in its own way, lol. Think I like the first one better…although that one is more unique. ;)

For you Funko Pop fans, saw in the latest Previews catalog that the fourth of the 4 Jim Lee X-Men #1 covers will be Gambit. Connect the 4, and you will have (from left to right), a Beast funko in front of the Beast/Jean/Prof. X cover, a Gambit funko in front of the Gambit/Psylocke/Rogue cover, a Wolverine funko in front of the Wolverine/Cyclops/Iceman cover, and a Magneto funko in front of the Magneto cover. Based on that news, I may have to grab the other three now.
