So I did a thing. I had an idea and started writing... The first couple of parts is up.

This is the first of a series of stories. We will explore the X-Men character, Gambit, having to come to terms with the idea that the affection Rogue, his long-time love and new wife, feels wasn't birthed from her original feelings for him. What if they were the result of one or more outside influences she'd picked up, namely Carol Danvers, better known as Captain Marvel?

Rogue being flung vagina-first at the first male that pops up on her radar isn't how I'd define "romance," but Marvel must be using a different dictionary than me.- NicoPony

Cool, I may check it out.  :gambit:

Edit:
On the plus side, closer to AO3 project done for LL. (I'm so done with this project - in 2 months it will have been a year in progress. Close to 'eff it' but ... they got the tags done now.)

I get slightly annoyed with projects that take a ton of time. We shall see if it gets done, otherwise "my give an eff meter is so broken", you've got no idea. Trying to stay positive over the entire thing. :)

Ohhh, interesting! That is a thought that had fascinated me awhile back. Rogue being pulled to Gambit by a hitchhiking personality would explain all the running away and coming back.I'll give it a read.
