‘BLUE EYE SAMURAI’ wins Best Animated Series at the Emmys.

(Doesn't matter. Everybody's talking about Gambit either way)

Blue eye samurai was a better show overall so it well deserved. Most of it's episodes were high quality.

Remeber It was top tier but nothing in X 97 was even close to be as good.
I knew a few people that stopped watching it because ep5 was great but ep6 was so bad that they couldn't end it and just stopped watching. It just killed momentum for them.

Gambit left and people left. Gambit is love, Gambit is life.

Seriously, I wonder how different the direction of UXM could have been if X97/D&W had been released in 2023. Maybe he would be the lead.

My headcanon will always be that his parents aren't mutants, but some fancy people. Reason why JL feels a bit guilty for raising Remy in the life he did and why he pushed him to become King of Thieves, because he feels that's the life he should be having.
I really hope that the MCU expands on the Thieves' Guild and it's operations. I wanna see them as a powerful, centuries-old crime syndicate that has connections all over the world (especially auction houses) and weird, almost cult-like traditions. The Lebeaus of New Orleans should be an old money family that owns a corporation. But that business is actually a front for the Guild. Why the hell would they do it if it didn't pay? Anyway, that's my dream lol.

After Gambit's death, I lost my enthusiasm for the second half of that season. There was a real emptiness, almost like watching those FoX-Men films where you feel as if there's something missing. The writers tried hyping up Tolerance for Extinction...and I'm like "you just killed off the best character, who gives a s***?"

Now the X-Men are scattered in different timelines, which I'm not interested in. Wake me up when Deathbit comes into it.

Not even the comics want to give the Guilds more protagonism despite the potential for Gambit to become a big figure of the underworld that can benefit the x-men in many ways. I think he's not even their leader anymore despite the great setting Asmus left for him.
(I miss Fence and Courier)

I wanna see them as a powerful, centuries-old crime syndicate that has connections all over the world (especially auction houses) and weird, almost cult-like traditions. I think there was some implication made by G that they don't have more money because of Candra. Now they're free from having to pay her, they should be ok. I remember Gambit did say he had bought a few properties in NY and had at least two in NO. If the Lebeaus aren't an "important" family already, he can start by doing exactly what you say. Becoming some sort of corporation that's just the front for what the guild actually does. Say, they work with "internet security" or something like that, but they in fact do some data and info stealing. They have Nil (I also miss that ass) who can hack the whole internet. Imagine how much money they can make just by working with data that is not illegal, doing the illegal stuff must make them all quite rich in little time.

It's quite easy to give this plot to Gambit, but there is really not much disposition to even try by current Marvel. He can't be the King of Thieves because he can't be in a position above his wife. This could have worked now both of them are in New Orleans, but that's not the direction they're going for, it seems.

Legendary X-Men creator Chris Claremont has a new 5-issue Marvel Comics series with the mutants coming

People speculate that it may be second arc for Gambit mini because Claremont wanted to greenlit it before.

Gail told that Remy has the Left Eye of  Agamotto - Power.

Not sure what power it gives him, really.

Twitter comments about recent issue are "omg so cool, they're kissing and talking about sex again, yay, Gail!"

Sites even less reputable than Twitter are bored by it.

Yes, I navigate these places so you won't have to.

I didn't hate it, but I still not feeling anything for it either.

I loved UXM 2. Good issue.

DanielRPK: The current treatment for the X-Men reboot doesn't include Wolverine. The rest of the team is similar to 'X-Men 97' with more characters, but no Wolverine because Hugh Jackman is staying on for now. Probably even after Secret Wars.

Earlier Daniel told that Gambit and Kitty are in X-Men reboot.
