The zoomers are now discovering X-Men. that can be good and bad. Yes, Chanmbit is part of this. Tatum absolute memed the f out of him into social media. The fact Rogue Twitter Fans hate Chanmbit gives me life.

Yep year of Gambit indeed based off two of his best appearances ever. Chambit rules and the fact that Rogue Twitter fans hate it makes me smile a lot ha…

They hate it because Chambit has nothing to do with Rogue.

Clearly Simone was also told to write a Gambit focused arc based off the above as well, hence all the hint dropping.

The year of Gambit happened after the books were being written, according to Simone, though. But future plots might involve him, sure.

Still funny that the year of Gambit doesn't include (for now) his original medium.

I am sure that Uncanny will have a lot of Remy.

We know that some Gambit tale is cooking ;) , also that Jean-Luc, Tante and Bella should appear.
I think Eye of Agamotto is a huge factor for his plot in Uncanny year 1.

It seems that Doom event will be from February till June 2025 where Doom is Sorcerer Supreme and ruler of World or something like this.
I would be glad to see Remy using his left Eye of Agamotto to help resistance against Doom and his right Eye.

Hot take that'll go over poorly here. I am not big on Gambit's pre-Xmen origin/time.

Felt he worked best the less was known about him. I hate the thieves guild/assassins guilds, they're small time, second rate, and bring him down/lessen him as a character. Don't care about jean-Luc, or Belladonna, and feel less should be focused on Gambit being a thief. Yes, those skills should be always reiterated, but, don't hink him thieving should be the focus of his character's solo stuff.

His time with the guild explains a lot of why Gambit is how he is, though. I kinda agree that focusing on him being a thief is something I don't like much because often it's written as if he's a compulsive kleptomaniac rather than a top skilled infiltrator.

I liked when Bella showed up the first time because it showed us a good mix of Gambit from that time. First, I liked how shocked everybody was when they found out he had a wife because that's something nobody would believe about him despite he seems like the type who would be happy being married as a long term goal. Talk about "subvert expectations", yada yada. At the same time, it showed him as douchy enough to omit this part of his life to the woman he was pursuing for whatever reason he had.

That Gambit looks hot af. He needs to grow his hair again, also the beard.

I am honestly more curious about this than UXM (even though yes, I agree, we might see some interesting Gambit development later...)

I am really interested in TVs too. Mostly because I loved Loki series and it has MCu writer and Gambit variant.

Probably won't happen but I hope it can tease some Gambit MCU future stuff
