1 - I want this. There is too many things hilarious about this cover.
2 -  The Dog and Deadpool - perfect.
3 - a Turtle with Quicksilver - okay, now that is a great joke/gaff whatever, amusing.

And lastly, Gambit and his cats! yay. I gotta have this.

Marvel Meow and What If covers.

first things first - I will create the 2025 thread, keep it closed until Jan 1 happens mostly so that I don't forget. Second, I most likely am done with floppys (paper versions of comic books) until Andrei's issue it out. That one, I'm getting two of - I love art.

Gambit getting a solo great, supplemental to UXM - Not for me, leave him alone and on his own and WITH OUT ROGUE. Give him characters that do not hurt him - as in be the support character that Rogue is not.

DIVORCE for Gambit and Rogue, (Rogue is the worst character due to writer fanboy or fangirl - ish type of writing behavior.)

Give the pets for all of the characters their due, they are far more interesting than the writing by the current crop of writers at Marvel and their characters. If 'Infinity Comics' can put together a better (looking forward to it book), than Marvel with signature books. Marvel you are not selling it or writing it correct. Disney, take the blame.

Of course - all my opinion, don't take seriously.

I don't want them to divorce, but maybe she could die, and be gone for a few years. That'd free him up, and when she returned, he could be in a new relationship, and then blow her face off with a card.

You can make this humorously.

"What you mean you never signed the divorced papers?"
"It's annulment papers, Remy, Catholics don't do divorce. And I thought you had signed them."
"I thought my father had done all of that."
"Why would I sign your divorce papers, son?"
"Annulment!"
"Well, I'm sorry I was busy saving the world a couple of times and you never called me for years!"
"This is what I get for trusting you to do anything."

(imagine the whole thing in Cajun)

It's been a great year for G, the next year can only get better!

(I insist, the year of Gambit officially ends in April)

Go fund page to fund the divorce ? !

We can only hope for a properly written solo. Knowing our luck the writer of the new Snow White will probably get it  ;D

What a funny idea. Thanks! You made me laugh.

Well, I hope a solo is well written and by someone who understands him more than as a love interest. As I've said before he is an action/adventure guy with some mysticism and sci-fi elements from time to time. Let's spend some that story element with that sort of stuff. And his cats stay with him. ;)

Just hope they get a good creative team with a good concept. I don't mind if they take a bit of time and put some thought into it (like Storm, Phoenix and Psylocke etc). As long as it's not something half-assed like that Savage Land Rogue mini coming up, which is basically there to sell variants for the gooners to collect.

We should have Savage Land Gambit, in name of equality.

Nah, trust me, we don't need that s*** for Remy. We want something that's going to be critically acclaimed (and Remy does have a solid track record of that in the past). The amount of variants for the SL Rogue mini is overkill, they're promoting the covers way more than the interior art. That's already a problem. A while back, the same creative team did this book called Hexware, the reviews were abysmal. I think Goodreads had it at 2.7/5.

I'm sure the first issue will sell fine (because of the ridiculous amount of variants, not the quality of writing) but it'll collapse by the 2nd issue.

Gambit in the Savage Land would just be a thirst trap for women.

If I was gonna write a Gambit solo it'd be to expand his status, but, outside of the X-men and his New Orlean ties. I'd have it start off with him doing high stakes heists in Europe, stealing from the Louvre or the Vatican or something before being recruited for a "do good sin" mission to steal from Doctor Doom in Latveria. And of course, he'd kick Rogue in the cooter if she showed up to lecture him, charge up her jacket and kick her over a cliff. Boom. He gets back to the states, successful, is betrayed by whomever recruited him, and worse, Doom has stolen his cats as an "invitation" for him to return, so Doom can extract revenge.

I just need a good Gambit story and characterization from a solo.
Claremont's mini was just random Gambit stories and it was great.
