As for the images, I'm assuming the cats were at his New Orleans house, which blew up. There is one missing.

Uncanny preview and trailer was great.

]Really love voices of Remy, Rogue and Logan in Uncanny. Rogue' s pov thoughts sounded goot too.

I love that character felt alive and how Gambit was amazed by dragon. I hate Soule's Astonishing but there was a nice small moment when Remy noticed a dragon and was like oh, dragon, cool! I like them. Such things feel real.

It seems Remy holds second eye of Agamotto from that dragon. Probably is going to destroy it if dragon won't go away or smth like this.Interesting whom he fights in that panel with cats. I hope he will fight strong villain against whom Remy must use his fighting skills, speed, agility and dirt fighting at full.

Dunno if I shuold put spoilers for this, but just in case.

According to *clenched teeth* Simone,

1. Rogue's gonna suffer a tragedy in #3, which has lead speculation for Gambit to die. Unlikely because 2. "People who hate Gambit will love him in #5" (paraphrasing), so he's alive up to that number.

Some of the speculation is

1. The cats die (doubtful, that'd be Gambit's, not Rogue's tragedy. Same for anyone from NO)
2. A young mutant dies (I think this is the most likely, although how much of a tragedy for Rogue this can be and not for Logan or Gambit?
3. Miscarriage (I'll hate Simone for the rest of my life if so. Not very likely, tbf).

Well, Tom Brevoort did say in an interview that he was surprised how many story points from X-Men '97 were also going to be happening in the upcoming comics.

My theories of the moment.:
Gambit is found dead in issue #3, then in issue #5 we get a flashback that shows it was actually from an heroic sacrifice! Also, one of the cats gets seriously injured, but is then saved by Sage by mutating the cat into a squirrel!

Simone said it was all coincidences few days ago.
Also, nooo, just no. Stop. No.

Hope you're wrong about the first part and a huge no to the second. WTH? I think Lucifer was just out of the frame in the trailer. They wouldn't touch the cats.

My money in on the tragedy and the grieving being the death of some of these new mutants that are going to show up, like Rogue failed to save them and now is grieving. She's supposed to be the protagonist (meh) so that's why it's her name on the solicit only. I don't buy the miscarriage theory.

Simone came up with the "woman in refrigerators" term, it'd be extremely hypocritical of her to kill off Gambit, and she said she's for couples staying married in comics and then she mentions he's in issue #5.

HOWEVER, I never believe what these people say, so you never know. I wouldn't be surprised.

They’d be morons to kill Gambit in 616.

Come on. Not saying they will kill him, but they aren't the brightest.

I don`t think that Gambit will die. Remember It put his death bar vey high and it will be really hard to top it.

But if he die it probably just to bring him back immediately in shiny new Gambit #1 ongoing.

The first uncanny issues were written before episode 5 dropped. I can only see Gambit getting a new solo or dying and being brought back quickly as a result of the repercussions of his death in the cartoon.

I know I shouldn't but I'm starting to worry. I wouldn't be even considering it if I weren't traumatized by that damn cartoon.

I doubt she will spoil that much if he's gonna be importantly hurt. Imagine if x97 had said something like "... Episode 5 will be important for Gambit!" or something like it. Something like this, it's really kept in absolute secrecy.

I think the question is what they are fighting that seems to have blown up his house and hurt him badly.

Now I’m starting to worry, too.

I don't, but not because I trust Simone being a good writer, but because she's horny for G. That's basically modern Gambit fandom and writers: they are fans of Rogue and have the hots for Remy.

X-Men 97 and D&W news:
X-Men 97:There's gonna be a "revision" of what Demayo left for Season 2. What If writer will do S3.

Deadpool:
There was a preview shown for some fans, the first 50m of the movie. G wasn't part of it, it's just the setup.. That's all.
