I don't see Austin Butler playing gambit, He's in serious actor mode.. doubt he'd be interested.
I'm  not interested in insulting Channing Tatum physically, I've always thought he was a good looking guy but not physically right for Gambit. But appreciate the heart and soul he put into the project

Being that feige said there's no gambit projects in the works, doesn't matter anyway.

1: It's always about Rogue. smh. (UXM) - I don't expect anything different. Shame on Marvel on not capitalizing on an 'action oriented' character - they do with Deadpool and Wolverine, why not Gambit. IMV. She (Rogue) is not it for me but whatever. LOL.

2: Channing Tatum's love of Gambit is so admirable. It's such a wonderful thing to have an actor in the fan corner. I'm really glad he finally got his shot with the character. I think too much time went by, especially when he had stated in interviews he worked on his physique to play the roll. That said, 'Magic Mike' and Gambit are two different body types, what a pain it had to be for him.

3: Personal note; I've lamented about not being able to see a film in a theater for a long time (drive and gas).  In my local area, there was a 'artsy film' theater that was purchased by the next door pizza shop (recent anywhere 2023-2024, maybe 2022 or earlier). I actually have the ability to see new films! Not only that, the menu is more 'modern' than popcorn and candy, snacks but with beer too. LMAO. I have not tried it yet. This theater is the oldest one in my area (1918). I'm five or less miles away. It's hours are attached to the pizza shop but I'm okay with that. Anyway, I'll try their matinee for the new film. Very unexpected until I drove by today.  :) TMI.

4: Not a fan of the art for UXM ... but ... whatever. We've seen worse and its not completely horrible as long as it helps the story, all good ... right? LOL.

Feige didn't say that.

He told:"I can't [confirm Gambit is coming in a future live-action project]!

It was 1 week before Gambit appeared in a live-action project.
He was just keeping cameo as secret.

I dunno. Uncanny art is amazing. Marquez is one of the best artist today and definitely the best action scene artist.

His Iron-Fist vs Elektra is the best drawn fight in comics ever. And placed perfectly on every new page by reducing panels by 2. He will kill on Uncnanny.

I think so too. All considered, the art will be the least of our problems in this book.

So, apparently because of the after credit Easter egg that shows Gambit.. he might actually come back.

I’m all for it.

fake?

Real.
Cool. I hope it means that he can return in Secret Wars or other project.

At least it is nice that he is not dead and survived.

Come to think of it, this Gambit is supposed to be from the same universe as Deadpool so it makes completely sense he’s there. The movie made clear he was alive.

Never was a truer word spoken. It’s all about Rogue and her trauma ridden fans. 🤷‍♂️ I’m sure Simone will deliver in spades.

Agreed I see the point on the look and accent of Tatum but his passion for the character is something to behold. The action scenes delivered and the multi card explosion scene was straight out of the early Gambit days. Loved the fact that he ended someone by blowing them up. gambit grew up on the streets. It’s survival.

Overall I think there are two sides to it and Tatum probably is too old for the new film but a solo film would be ok. Kitsch was probably more aesthetically pleasing but Tatum had much more of the action and humour down.

Film was crazy weird.

Cast a younger version of Gambit in main MCU.

Cast Tatum as Gambit in a spin off of the TVA comic.

Win win.

"Why not both?" meme.
If that happens, I'd watch the TVA comic (or whatever they adapt). Tatum said he hasn't even watched the MCU bc it hurts and I feel that, bro. It hurts me too (although for other reasons).

Yes multiple Gambit live action. I like it. Maybe Tatum could play the witness ha!

The MCU hurts us all but don’t worry there’s Captain America 4, Thunderbolts and Agatha to come  :P Did make me laugh though that Wolverine & Deadpool made more money in two days than the last Marvel film made in its entire run worldwide !!

I really wish people would just let Channing Tatum go. I am hoping he is like Krasinski's Reed Richards. Just a one-off appearance. TBH, Gambit has been missing from that timeline for so long, that I would be kind of pissed if they shoehorned him into the Foxverse now because the actor is Ryan Reynolds' friend. Seriously, just start over and make sure to include him this time around.
