Still Gambit’s best entrance in my opinion.
The uniform is cherry on top, imo. I just love that one uniform.

Agreed

Beats out Messiah Complex "Pick a card my friend, for old time's sake" and his spinning save in 97.

Not much of a fan of AI, but Meta actually made a good Gambit when I prompted it. Didn't save it, gonna see if I can make it again.

Speaking of other x-men... James Marsden has spent a lot of time of the Sonic tour talking about Cyclops...

I bet his entire screentime as Cyclops across 4 films put together is less than 30 mins.

I know, but I think he saw Jennifer, Wesley, and Tatum and said "hey, I want too!"

What If Gambit issue was ok at best.

It had some fine moments but overall felt like written by AI with fanfic dialogues from Remy. Writer probably wanted Remy to sound fun or joyful but it felt like stupid XTAS more for me. It felt like TVA Gambit again and can`t explain why.It wasn`t terrible but it wasn`t good either. Remy needed to steal the whole planet as shock but when he arrived planet is already small.

Felt like a disappointment. I really hope that this writer will not write our rumored or more wishful future Gambit solo.

Uncanny 8 is a huge mess. Do they really think that Cyke fans are the target audience of this book? This crossover hurted Uncanny terribly.

I liked it more than the TVA one. His design was beautiful and I while I doubt it, I hope it's something we see in other comics. I also liked that the writer understood how kinetic energy works, hehe. Gambit charges, but he could also "uncharge". The more abilities he has, the happier I am.

What I didn't like much is that the story sounds too similar to G99, and he wasn't given those powers, he was born with them. So, this is a what if too similar to something that has happened. I feel people tend to forget how powerful Gambit was meant to be if he hadn't got rid of his full potential, but he still managed to use it back then. Super powerful Gambit ain't nothing new.

Aside from that, it was ok. The dialogue? I have zero expectations for dialogue in current day.

UXM is making me doubt that Gail actually likes Rogue.

For what I've read on twitter, they aren't very happy with Cyclops written by Simone at all.

Gambit was just there, in case anyone asks. There is nothing to spoil. Ah, he touches Rogue a lot, of course.

He's an acquired taste. But, he shares our hatred for Gail.

Despite he's gone unhinged over nonsense the past two months, Boi Zack making Marvel writers mad will never get old, as Gail's personality is old.

I don`t hate Gail. I am sure she can and will earlier or later give us a great Gambit story.

The faith you have is amazing. She is not selling me though. We'll see or read. She wrote better in the Bat-world or so I thought. Maybe not. It is hard to tell now.
It is possible the expectation is too high on the fan part. We as a group were used to grittier story telling when it comes to Gambit. We are not getting that, as love interest ... sure ... okay. But milktoast, no. IMV.

You noticed that too?? I've called him out on it several times.
