Thanks a lot, really appreciate! BUT... seems like people were not quite happy with my work. It was fun! That said, heading back to image in the near future

I really enjoyed it, pencilling Uncanny X-Men is something you should be very proud of, amazing accomplishment, and hope to see more. From what I've seen so far, a lot of Rogue/Gambit shippers were quite happy with those last couple of pages you did. It was beautifully done.

I still haven't read the number, I'm busy. Like I said, I liked the art. A lot. The images for those who haven't yet read, also to have them here.

That ain't the dress I'd go to ballet, but it's Rogue, so... heh. I love pimp Gambit, though. A lot.

This is his official "sexcapades" outfit from XTAS.

I'm glad Gambit already learned to dance something else than waltz. Or so I hope.

Y totally got my point here! I was really tracking the classy 90s Gambit! Cuz it was there he first shine to the world. And Im also a fan of badboys look haha

Well, I liked it!

In my opinion your issues were a vast improvement over the art from recent issues and the only reason I bothered to continue with the series. I wish you well on your future endeavors and I will keep an eye out for them.

The world needs more "sexcapade Gambit", definitely.

I agree with purplevit 100%. Dont worry about critics. Art preference is quite subjective, but talent is not. Marquez does a great job, but I don't like it for this type of story, for example. I prefer yours very much because it brings me back to 90s Gambit and reminds me a lot of his 99 run.  Don't think your work wasn't good or not good enough. There's been really terrible art we've seen and yours ain't like that. It is great. And Gambit fans are loving it. I hope one day we can see your art again for a Gambit solo, you deserve it.

Last year's "Deadpool & Wolverine" was a massive hit, with a boasting list of cameos and surprise appearance of some familiar faces, bringing back the fun and love for these iconic characters. To celebrate this epic reunion, Cosbaby is releasing a special Cosbi Collection dedicated to these beloved heroes. Alongside Deadpool and Wolverine, you can find nostalgic figures like Blade, with his relentless poker face wielding a gun and knife; Elektra, exuding fierce allure in a metallic purple and red battle suit; and Gambit, the card-throwing superhero showcasing his energy control in all its glory, following by X-23 (Laura) recalling us the touching moments in "Logan." The biggest surprise, however, is Human Torch, who catches us all off guard! He’ll be presented in his ultimate fiery form, ready to soar. The collection strikingly captures the dynamic duo alongside their new friends and features

Andrei and Gail's last issue seems to be doing quite well critically and commercially.

It was mostly just an aesthetic preference it seems from those that could be bothered to write anything more “I don’t like the art”. There was an eye socket that looked odd in the preview pages but beyond that I found no one who mentioned a scene or anything else in specifics. Some said that your style is too “indie” or “image” or whatever. It seems some have a very narrow definition of what X-men art looks like.

I liked it and the way you drew those dog sentinels I just kept on getting a strong transformers vibe. The coloring certainly helped to. It was very reminiscent of both IDW’s art and old legend Andrew Wildman.

There was a coloring mistake in my digital version. In the last scene, the important scene for me, Remy’s scarf went from purple on the first page to the same yellow-green color that his shirt have on the next page. I take it it was meant to be purple.

Beyond that I found the scene with Kurt and the mom both funny and warm. Wonderful work.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_XjPlhbOn0&t=5896sNew casting rumors from Jeff Sneider. Personally I don`t believe them but he leaked Downey as Doom and Russo return a month or two before reveal.
The casting list for X-Men includes :

Harris Dickinson for CyclopsMargaret Qualley even if its not for RogueDavid Johnson (from ALIEN : ROMULUS) who Marvel really likes and wants to work with

Austin Butler there could be conversations about casting him as Gambit :gambit:

Surprisingly, Sneider mentioned Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) for Jean Grey and Julia Butters (Freakier Friday) for Kitty Pryde in earlier podcasts, but didn't mention them today.

Sneider says the following about Hugh Jackman :Jackman might come back for one more last movie and will be done afterwards.
  • The actor would be cast for Secret Wars (before the MCU X-Men movie)
  • Sneider says Jackman wouldn't be Wolverine anymore in the new X-Men/Mutant Saga.

Kinda OT but I find funny how many Americans have never heard a Cajun accent before. I'm aware that US is the size of a whole continent, but still. So many people laughing at Tatum's accent without realising they were unintentionally insulting a lot of Cajuns who keep claiming "...but we do sound like this!" There is a lot to criticise Tatum for, but I keep reading that the accent was on point. And Gambit probably was a more thicker accent bc his family are all old people.

Little Trivia, in the Spanish dub of the movie, the accent is generic french. In the og cartoon, they called him french too, not Cajun and he has no accent.

Tatum, like myself, is from Alabama. So obviously, we Alabamians encounter cajuns when we go to Louisiana, be it New Orleans or to watch LSU get their asses kicked. So we're accustomed to hearing their muck mouthed swamp slang.
