Y'all remember the original X-Men cards had her intelligence listed as a 1, when 2 was considered "average". Most X-men (like Gambit, Wolverine) were a 2. She was the only 1 of the heroes I could recall.


They used to think she was dumb as hell.

I think you nailed it.


My fear is that his body IS dead, and he may have to self sacrifice anyway his new/fake body, after Rogue "brings him out" of his death personality. So that Gambit's "dead for good", but we get an emotional payoff. Or...maybe his "sentinel body" will be able to touch Rogue, if they bring him back. And they could claim he DID die, but he's back, but not his original body. That'd be...stupid...but the show did go out of it's way to establish Sinister needed Trask's DNA and manipulated it...so he was "human" but also a Sentinel. It...doesn't make sense, but, whatever.

We can expand - still works with X-Men, magic in all realms or categories.

No, I agree 100%. Rogue was always a tender hearted rough and tumble on the outside but vulnerable girl during Claremont's run, and that's how many of us remember her.  I felt she (Rogue) came off far worse in yesterdays episode than in episode 5, where at least she realized her error, and clearly was torn on her decision anyway. In this one she came off as unecessarally violent, condescending, self important and MURDEROUS.

I assume limited to mutants only (no Gladiator, Juggernaut, etc). And no extra stuff, as in, if you had Logan's healing factor, you wouldn't automatically have his adamantium skeleton/claws, just bone ones.


Man, it's hard not to pick Xavier and have near absolute power via telepathic control or mind reading. And power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I dare say I'd be bad with it, and therefore, a villain. So, I'll forgo that temptation.


Honestly, Magneto's powers would be hard to pass up, and man you could really do some good with them. Ironic that I'd be good with the villains powers and bad with the heroes. Most X-mens powers would suck to have tbh. One could have Storm's power and basically be a force for good around the world providing rain in drought areas, averting hurricanes and tornados, putting out wildfires, etc.

Gotta be right? I was starting to be convinced that Gambit would be dead until the final moments of the last episode when they reveal him as death(or whatever) for season 2, which I was not happy about. But after that whole section with Trask, it seems like we will get him in the final battle or even a little more. I like that better.

Pick your X-Men or other and choose your powers.
I'll go first - I would do a mix of Gambit and Storm. It would be over the top - too much power. I'd have to give limits.

I don't have an answer now ... but .. it's my jam as it were.   N
