MMX 2 was great. Gambit, Rogue and Deadpool are fun together. Ending is really weird.

RED 7 was fine as issue. Gambit almost did nothing but he was in charge of mission. Really feels like Liu`s Astonishing.

He did plenty in Red, he gave good orders and took control of the situation, great leadership skills and quality on showcase here

Yeah, liked that. I will be sad if RED will end with 11.

Also art in RED is beautiful. Body language and facial expressions are drawn really good. I hope artist will stay on X books.

Awesome! I was hoping we'd see the cats soon since they were mentioned at the end of R&G

I don't get it. But I'm still not ready to bail on this book yet. It's not bad, but it's far from "good". It's OK. It just lacks life. You've got Storm, Jean, Nightcrawler and Gambit on a team, yet they behave as if they barely known each other. There's no heart in their exchanges. Gabby seems to be the only one allowed to show signs of life. Jean, one of the most passionate and emotionally charged characters in all of X-Men comes off like a robot. And whats with the colorist and using so much black? It's hard to go from MMX to XMR from a purely visual standpoint. Art is good Carmen is does great work, but her lines are muddied by the palate choices.

And for goodness sake... his name is Teen Abomination? Who thought that was good idea?

Rogue being flung vagina-first at the first male that pops up on her radar isn't how I'd define "romance," but Marvel must be using a different dictionary than me.- NicoPony

I've been enjoying this series, but that's a valid point. I think it would help if there were fewer characters so it gives the others room to develop some more. Or at least focus on different characters different issues.

I think X-men Red is just fine.  They really haven't had a chance to just shoot the s*** as they have been jumping all across the globe from the start of this.  I mean Gambit joined the team and immediately goes on a mission away from Storm so no real time for them to interact.  Then s*** goes sideways on the plane fairly quick.

Not sure if anyone else saw this, but I spotted Gambit on the cover of Marvel Knights 20th #1 book coming out in November.

Cool fight scene.

I saw that marvel knights one, but I have no idea what it is or what's going on...

It has something to do with DD losing his memory. Not sure how all of the heroes tie into it though
